GPUSIM is a hybrid HPC cluster combining CPU and GPU computing power.
It currently consists of:
- 3 x Computing Server T-Platforms Twin Dexus 1U with 2 intel Xeon X5550 2.4 GHz processors and 12 GB of RAM
- 2 x NVIDIA Tesla 1U S1070
- Infiniband Switch: Mellanox InfiniBand MTS3600Q-1UNC
- Ethernet Switch: D-link DGS-1248T/GE
The LINPACK performance test was completed on GPUSIM with following results:
- CPU max performance 443 GFlops (see LINPACK log)
- GPU max performance (double precision) 230.6 GFlops (see LINPACK log)
- Combined performance 673.6 GFlops
